The 2009-2010 Washington DC winter saw record amounts of snowfall, including two separate epic 24-hour snowfalls. Work was cancelled, roads were impassable. We played snow football like grade schoolers. We had impromptu snowball fights. It was amazing.

Church of God "The Coffee"
Some friends and I happened upon this interestingly-named church over the weekend: ”Iglesia de Dios El Cafe,” the sign reads. (Church of God “The Coffee”). Something tells me they aren’t serving Starbucks…
